Cast size will be around 35 people. We are excited to see so many new and returning faces! Since many families audition for us, we cannot guarantee that the whole family will be cast. Please let the Director know if your casting is conditional on all family members making it in.
Who Can Audition?
Anyone in a Christian Homeschool Family aged 7 and up! This includes alumni, parents, graduates, grandparents and more! We welcome the whole family to join!
What to do/bring at Auditions?

Doors to the church will open at 5:00. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your audition time to fill out paperwork beforehand.

Be sure to come with all schedule conflicts on the audition form. Availability will affect casting. ALL Tech Week Rehearsals are mandatory.

Please prepare to sing 16-32 bars (30 seconds to a minute) of music for your vocal audition in the style of the show or character you like. You are allowed to choose something from the show, but it is not preferred.

Please bring your own accompaniment. This can be something you play yourself, someone plays for you, or a track you sing to on your phone. It is allowed but not preferred to sing acapella.

You will also be taught a short dance during your audition time.

Video auditions can be submitted to elagronetwhs@gmail.com. Video auditions must be submitted by 8:30pm on December 15th to be considered. Please reach out to the email above for other information to submit alongside video.

Invited callbacks will be posted on the website after auditions on the 15th.

Please note…just because you aren’t asked to come to Callbacks doesn’t mean you won’t be cast in the show.

It is strongly encouraged to review the show before auditions so that you are as prepared as possible. A link to the song playlist that matches the songs in the script is listed below. Please also note that some wording will not be exactly what the script calls for and a few things regarding content will be changed.
The Cast List will be announced on our website on December 18th no later than 3pm. Keep an eye out on our social media or be sure to check the website!
Rehearsal and Participation Information

Cost for participation will be $100 per participant with a family cap of $400. This cost includes a t-shirt for the cast member. If the fee would be a hardship for your family, please reach out to a board member to ask about scholarship opportunities.
Mandatory Parent Meeting/Cast Read Through- January 9th at 1:30pm

Parent Meeting will last around an hour.

Cast Read Through will last until 4:30pm.
All rehearsals will be at Calvary Lutheran Church. We will have rehearsals on Saturdays and occasional Sundays. Most will not be called for every rehearsal listed. All possible rehearsal dates are listed below.
Saturday Rehearsals will be from 1:00pm to 5:00pm.
Sunday Rehearsals will be from 1:30pm to 3:30pm.
January: 10th, 16th, 23th, 24th, 30st
February: 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th, 28th
March: 6th, 13th, 14th, 20st
April: 3rd, 10th, 11th, 17th, 24th
Tech Week: April 26th to 29th, 2027
