Cast size will be around 35 people. We are excited to see so many new and returning faces! Since many families audition for us, often we cannot cast the whole family. Please let the Director know if your casting is conditional on all family members making it in.

 

Who Can Audition?

Anyone in a Christian Homeschool Family aged 7 and up! This includes alumni, parents, graduates, grandparents and more! We welcome the whole family to join!

What to do/bring at Auditions?

  • Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your audition time to fil out paperwork beforehand.

  • Be sure to come with all schedule conflicts on the audition form. Availability will affect casting. ALL Tech Week Rehearsals are mandatory.

  • Please prepare to sing 16-32 bars (30 seconds to a minute) of music for your vocal audition. This can be from any musical. You are allowed to choose something from the show, but know that you are not limited to it. You will need to bring your own accompaniment. 

    • You will also be taught a short dance during your audition time.

  • If you are asked to come back for callbacks, you will be asked to read through sections of the show. 

    • Please note…just because you aren’t asked to come to Callbacks doesn’t mean you won’t be cast in the show.

  • It is strongly encouraged to review the show before auditions so that you are as prepared as possible. A link to the Spotify Playlist is listed below.​​​​

The Cast List will be announced on our website no later than January 5th. Keep an eye out on our social media or be sure to check the website!

Rehearsal and Participation Information

  • Cost for participation will be $80 per participant. This cost includes a t-shirt for the cast member.

Mandatory Parent Meeting/Cast Read Through- January 10th at 1:30pm

  • Parent Meeting will last around an hour.

  • Cast Read Through will last until 4:30pm.

All rehearsals will be at Calvary Lutheran Church. We will have rehearsals on Saturdays and occasional Sundays. Most of the cast will not be required to be there every week.

 

All rehearsal dates are listed below.

Saturday Rehearsals will be from 1:00pm to 5:00pm.

Sunday Rehearsals will be from 1:30pm to 3:30pm.

February: 1st, 7th,14th, 15th, 21st, 28th

March: 7th, 15th, 21st, 22nd, 28th, 29th (possibly)

April: 11th, 18th, 19th, 25th, 

May: 2nd, 3rd, 9th, 16th, 17th, 23rd

Tech Week: May 25th to 30th
